Business Challenge:
HP World needed a reliable wireless internetwork for their 5,000 wireless centric employees. The internetwork had to connect remotely via VPN to their corporate network but their existing VPN client could not be natted.

Solution:
CCLD worked with the Cisco TME’s to integrate the HP network with the facility network by sharing routing information via OSPF. We had to attach their 6509 core switches and their 2950 aggregate switches and integrate them with our facility core and aggregate switching. We had to define new OSPF areas. We co-located their 6509’s, Pix firewalls, and routers to help facilitate the solution.

Through these collaborative efforts, CCLD was able to provide a highly fault tolerant network for HP’s 5,000 employees allowing for increased employee productivity through secure wireless access to their corporate LAN.
